"BRAVO, if I punched Heather in her eye, you guys would have footage to prove it," the post read, with quotations marks around the text.
"Why would you sit down with someone who 'gave' another cast member a black eye? She said, 'Did I give that to you?' and I said, 'Don't worry, I'll cover.'"
Heather then went on to explain why she lied about the source of the bruise for years before finally coming clean during the Jan.
2 season four finale.
"I was scared of her I think," she admitted of Jen, who is currently serving a five-year prison sentence for wire fraud and money laundering.

Bravo fans are finally getting a crystal-clear view of the events that led to Heather Gay's infamous black eye.
During part three of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City's season four reunion, Heather described in detail for the first time how former costar Jen Shah left her injured after a night of partying the previous season.
"Honestly, it was a lot of drinking and the next morning I woke up with a black eye," the Bad Mormon author confessed during the Jan.

During an argument on the Season 4 finale Tuesday with current cast member Monica Garcia, who previously worked as Shah's assistant before the ex-"Housewife" went to prison, Gay said Garcia's behavior was similar to red flags she allegedly ignored from Shah.

How did Andy Cohen respond to Jen Shah's comments?
On a Wednesday episode of his SiriusXM radio program "Andy Cohen Live," Cohen hit back at Shah's claims from Instagram.
"I had forgotten about the one-on-one with Jen. She is right.
“I’d been covering for her for three years. I was terrified to say it, I was still scared to say it at reunion."
In a shocking reveal, host Andy Cohenthen proceeded to introduce never-before-seen footage from the morning after the accident.
"Security footage from Heather's room was reviewed immediately," a caption on the screen read.
At first she said she knew what caused the injury but was waiting for one of her cast mates to own up to the truth.
"I think we all know what happened, I just think we don't want to talk about it," she told cousin Whitney Rose after the incident.
During the RHOSLC season 3 reunion, Heather claimed to not remember how she got the black eye, telling Andy Cohen she was blackout drunk and simply woke up with the injury.
"I don't know how I got the black eye," the 40-year-old told Andy Cohen and her fellow costars.

In Shah's post on Tuesday, she claimed Bravo producer Andy Cohen is "still butt hurt" that she denied an interview with the host before she entered custody.
