Boo Bar
This popular gay bar (a bear haven by reputation) is one of the more reasonably priced bars around, a place where you can sit back and enjoy a drink without draining your bank account.
But if you want to save a bit more, you can score some drinks at $40 to $50 during their happy hour before 7:30 PM.
Like most bars, it tends to get busy later in the evening. Being tucked away gives Time a sense of privacy and intimacy. It has a nice jazz lounge feel, so you’ll likely have a laid-back time here with a drink in hand and just hang out with your friends.
Homosexuality was legalized in 1991 in Hong Kong, and although gay marriage still isn’t, being queer is no longer the taboo it once was.
Though I want to say, compared to the other bars I’ve been to, this one feels super sophisticated and rich.
If the name doesn’t give it away yet, this bar is the place to go to sing your heart out. People simply enjoy a drink, chat, or have a small dance party to themselves.
Drinks are cheap at only around $90 per option. Their speciality cocktails can pack a surprising punch and are just the thing to get you dancing when the DJs are brought in for the weekend.

LinQ
Located on Pottinger Street, LinQ – pronounced ‘link’ – is a bar that attracts a mixed crowd of locals and expats which usually spills out onto the cobbled street.
There are two seats, so yes, duets are possible!
And oh – they host singing contests where the winners get to win bottles. This is really more of a local spot so don’t come here expecting to see a room full of expats. Famous for its queer nights hosted by HOST, it invites anyone looking to dance and enjoy music without boundaries.
Give it a shot if the chance comes!
5. From 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM, you can access unlimited red and white wine, as well as beer and sake. There’s a nice mix of other tunes too – mostly K-Pop – but you’ll also hear a few canto pop and J-Pop hits.
As for the drinks, they don’t require a cover charge or have minimum consumption rules. FLM

Everybody in Hong Kong knows FLM.
This iconic gay bar is the perfect place to enjoy cocktails and, to be honest, the liveliest crowd you’ll ever encounter in the city.
Beyond the company and drinks, you can’t skip this bar without seeing their shows. These bite-sized delights are as varied and colorful as our community – and twice as spicy! They often have happy hours, which offer the best drink deals in the city, but the promotion times vary, so make sure to check what they have on offer when you visit.
While Virus has a calmer vibe, L’Paradis offers beer pong, darts, karaoke, and shots, perfect for those who are young and looking for love. T:ME Bar (TIME Bar)
